PHOENIX — Ducey for Governor today released a new TV ad, “Plan,” showing the clear contrast between Governor Ducey’s plan for stronger public schools, and David Garcia’s stunning lack of an education funding plan. The ad will air statewide on English and Spanish-language TV.

The Arizona Republic endorsed Governor Ducey, praising his leadership to pass Proposition 123 and a budget delivering 20% teacher raises by 2020. Since 2015, Arizona has added $2.7 billion in new funding for public schools. There’s more work to do, but the Republic agrees “we are on the road to recovery.”

Meanwhile, David Garcia supports higher taxes, but has no funding plan for Arizona schools. Watch the ad below:

About Doug Ducey:

Doug Ducey is committed to securing Arizona’s future. In his first year as governor, he took a $1 billion deficit and balanced the budget, without raising taxes. He is committed to improving K-12 education, and has added nearly $2.7 billion to Arizona public schools. He’s cut regulations to stimulate jobs and reformed and simplified our tax code every year he has been governor. In addition, Governor Ducey launched Arizona’s Border Strike Force, to enhance security along Arizona’s southern border and stop the flow of cartels and human traffickers.
